Another edition of the Champions League T20 has come to an end, with Chennai Super Kings defeating Kolkata Knight Riders in the final on Saturday at Bangalore to clinch their second CLT20 title, and add to their list of growing T20 crowns.

They say you never know the importance of a person until he is gone, and Kolkata Knight Riders experienced the same feeling on Saturday as Chennai Super Kings smashed them en route to claiming their second CLT20 title.

Under normal circumstances, Kolkata Knight Riders would have gone into the final of the CLT20 against Chennai Super Kings at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore as favourites.

In the preview to the second semi-final between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab it was mentioned how well-matched the two teams were, and hence a close contest was expected.

If ever there was a contest for the two most equally balanced sides in the competition, it has to be the second semi-final between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab that will be played on Thursday at Hyderabad.
